- Paint and Dust Sampling
Why is Lead Sampling Important?
Lead exposure can damage the kidneys and the cardiovascular, central nervous or other body systems. It can also be deleterious to children’s development. Most commonly, lead is inhaled as a dust or fume, or accidentally ingested. Once it has entered the bloodstream, lead circulates through the body and bioaccumulates in specific organs and body tissues.
Accurate determination of lead in paint can be undertaken using either invasive or non-invasive sampling. Images are captured from every sampling location and unique sample references assigned to samples to track the appearance of each sampled surface. WPAAS provides industry-standard testing and analysis for lead-based paint and dust compared to regulatory standards.
